DIKSHU C KUKREJA

Dikshu C Kukreja is a world-renowned Architect and Urban Planner, currently serving as the Managing Principal of CP Kukreja Architects, a firm ranked amongst the ‘Top 100 Architecture and Planning firms in the World’ and ‘Top 5 in Asia’. He holds the prestigious position of Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Albania to India, a testament to Mr. Kukreja's exceptional contributions to architecture and his commitment to fostering international relations. Mr. Kukreja earned his Master’s in Architecture from Harvard University, USA, and remains a staunch environmentalist and urbanist. He authored the book ‘Five Decades of India’s Built Environment’. Recognized as the ‘Face of 21st Century Architecture in India’, he has been featured in the ‘Who’s Who of Asia’ and is a sought-after speaker, delivering lectures globally. His thoughts on urban issues are featured in leading national dailies, as well as electronic media regularly. Recently, he hosted the acclaimed TV series ‘Tale of Two Cities’, engaging in conversations with Presidents, Prime Ministers, and Mayors worldwide. He was appointed by the Indian Government with the task of bringing together global thought leaders for a discourse on ‘Livable Cities’ at the Think20 (an official engagement group of the G20). He played a pivotal role in promoting sustainable architectural practices. He has received numerous accolades and recognition for his innovative designs that prioritize environmental conservation and social responsibility.

ARUNIMA KUKREJA

Director of CP Kukreja Architects, Looks takes care of Global outreach and communications, A student of history from St. Stephens College, Delhi University, and holding a diploma in Environmental Law, Arunima Kukreja is an ardent writer, an interior designer and a philanthropist who heads the CPKA Foundation for Design Excellence, which promotes consciousness in design cutting across genres. As the Creative Head of the series Deciphering Design with Dikshu and Tale of Two Cities that aired on Disney+ Hotstar and Wion, she, along with Dikshu, explored different facets of design and Urban Planning. Arunima Kukreja co-authored the book ‘Five Decades of India’s Built Environment’ along with Dikshu, which is a labour of love and textual research on the process of change in design, technology and materiality from the post-Independence period to post-liberalization, until the present times, focusing primarily on the influence of sustainability and cutting-edge technology on buildings.
